Unlocking the Brain: Peptide-Guided Nanoparticles Deliver mRNA to Neurons Penn Engineering Blog

MRNAs encoding a number of transmembrane proteins, including ion channels, are found within the presynaptic transcriptome and protein translation machinery is present in mature axons.
